I have a bamboo pillow that's been loyal to me for the past 5 years! It's firm enough to hold its shape, but also soft enough that it has some give to contour to your head. It also stays cool throughout the night, which is a blessing if you overheat.
I went on a bit of a journey to find a pillow that would stop my neck pain as well since my shaped latex pillow started disintegrating. Tried a number of different pillows. Starting with Endy and Polysleep - neither helped. I then bought a shaped memory foam pillow (UTTU) from Amazon. It was OK but I was still having a sore neck.
What ultimately did the trick was an old bamboo pillow I found at my parents' house. I figured I'd give it a try and it's been the best of the lot by far, relieving most of my neck pain. It's similar to this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07DRC36C7/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_ZHT609GHMAQG23AJWCS1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Although, the big caveat is that everyone's body is different so what works for me might now work for you. Good luck finding something that works for you though!
This is the one I use and I love it.
