I can only speak from my own experience, but I was going crazy trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I noticed that my smaller plant was much healthier. A lightbulb went off in my head and I immediately ordered some larger smart pots. Mine have improved dramatically since I transplanted them, and they were 1 week into 12/12. I think the shock will be minimal if you can do it now but I wouldn't wait much longer.
edit: these are the ones I transplanted into, in hindsight I wouldn't get the ones with the cut handles, they are slightly more expensive and the handles are useless, love the pots themselves however - http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Pots-5-Gallon-Soft-Sided-Container/dp/B0055E7KR2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1444857540&sr=8-2&keywords=smart+pot+5gal
Ill be harvesting in about three weeks and will let you know. They are beautiful right now, I'll shoot you some pictures. I use chicken wire as a sort of "tomato cage" so that the buds dont fall over and to give me something to train the plants with. I fit three of these and usually plant 2 plants in each one for a total of 6 in the tent. http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Pots-5-Gallon-Soft-Sided-Container/dp/B0055E7KR2/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1456520152&sr=1-1&keywords=cloth+planters
