People put the porlex grinder inside of their aeropress but I haven't seen anything like you've described. Build one! Pics when done please! :)
I can recommend this scale:
This is the scale I have also :
Cheap strain guages are pretty good. I have this one: Smart Weigh SWS100 Elite Series Digital Pocket Scale, 100g by 0.01g, Black [link]
It is precise to 0.02 and accurate to 0.05 according to my calibrated weights. I can easily tell a 0.25g difference in shot speed alone on my Classic.
This is the scale I use.
Cheap, gets the job done.
EDIT: That scale was 15.99 when I got it 2 months ago. Seems to have doubled in price since then. Damn.
Definitely get a scale if you don't have one already. I recommend this one.
It's a good little scale that you can carry around with you. It'll weigh up to 100 grams so wouldn't be very useful for large stuff but if you wanted to check the weight of coins or other small stuff it should do you just fine.
EDIT: Oh, I should add, pick up some silver testing acid. It's a destructive test but if you are really uncomfortable or really unsure then this is definitely the way to find out if it's real or not.
Definitely research ways to tell if something is real or not and never settle for one test. Do three different tests on it to be sure. Best advice though, if your still uncomfortable after the tests or at any point, just walk away.
I don't see a scale in there, so I assume you are using the dipper that it came with.
I would very much recommend an upgrade to a small scale like this. I weighed a bunch of tests with the dipper and they were off by enough that I'm sure you'd see it in your groups.
This Scale is only around $7.50 and will help you weigh all of your drugs forever! It's such a tiny investment that could make sure you and your friends don't take to much (or to little).
If you're weighing, the fineness of the salt shouldn't matter. If you're using spoons, you'll get more fine salt into a spoon than you will coarse salt. These are the scales I use for salt and yeast and tiny amounts of things. Cheap and cheerful.
Jesus dude quit being cheap with your life and get a balance.
Only $11 to make sure you don't have a heart attack.
1 cup of coffee is around 0.08 grams
Please get a scale.
Here. It works Great. Can also calibrate it with scale weights
You can get a scale for really cheap on amazon
This is the scale I like to use: [link]
Oops, my bad- it was this one:
even with this, the accuracy was not great, and got inconsistent results
I got this one and it works great.
These scales have done me well so far Smart Weigh Digital Pocket Scale 100 x 0.01g - Black [link]
thebrokevapor was already mentioned but I'd also pick up a scale - I personally use this one [link] then bookmark this calculator [link]
It's much easier to mix with a scale than trying to fidget around with a syringe imo.
This is the scale I use. [link]
It claims accuracy to 0.01g but its probably more like 0.03g. It's good enough. To get a really good scale you will need a Japanese brand like Tanita which will cost at least 5x more. [link]
amazon jas this model for $10.

£25 is a bit steep. I use these and they're fine, £8:-
Scratch that, amazon has these nice scales for £8
Here is the scale I currently use. I like puns, so couldn't resist, and it's also cheap and accurate.
That's just a shitty scale. You aren't doing anything wrong.
Buy this one
Always just used these: [link]
Edit: you almolst always find these at headshops, and those Arab one stop shitstops
[link] - these ones. I think they're the UK equivalent of yours. I've seen people mention weighing the pipettes rather than using the ml scale.
I use these:
Sadly they shut off after 120 seconds, but I can live with that for the money.
I use this and it's great!
These ones recommended by a fellow redditor [link]
You can remove the tip from most bottles but +1 on scales. Look for ones that measure in 0.01g increments, something like [link] . These only go up to 100g so you may want to look for ones that go higher.
Use [link] to figure out the weight, it's so much easier than syringes.
Did you look on amazon?
I use the Smart Weight SWS100 scales.
Once you're into the swing of a mixing session, it's not hard to avoid the 60-second auto shut off but it can be annoying at times.
