These are designed exactly for that. They come in all sizes and made out of a material similar to a tough pool noodle. I worked at a huge car lot in the north east clearing hundreds of cars they work perfectly for any amount of snow.

I recommend getting a Snow Joe in the future. It’s basically a foam head used as a broom/to push the snow off, with a scraper on the other end. Great way to clear the snow off a car.

This is not the one I have—I got mine as an impulse buy at the grocery or hardware store—but it seems like the same concept. Critical is that it has one end to scrape ice (us shorties still need to do that) and then the long, softer part that can get the snow off hard-to-reach areas of the roof. Mine telescopes while this one comes apart—either seems fine. This would fit better in a small car, though maybe in a small car you wouldn’t need it.

Hi all, it's snow season now around here. How do you guys get snow off your car? Mine is newly ceramic coated and the first dusting brushed off easily with a microfiber towel, but I'm uneasy at the thought of using my snow scraper and snow brush for heavier amounts of snow on my car. I'm thinking about using something like this. Any advice or recommended products?

You are not too short. Get a snow broom dammit.

You need a "Snow broom" from Sno Joe - that's a must have if you park outside. It's soft squishy foam yet sturdy enough to push all the snow off your roof and hood and trunk.

and last but important. Get a smallish spray bottle, combine two parts 70% isopropyl alcohol with one part water

This stuff will melt the ice on your windows. spray it on, give it a min or so (heat up your car meanwhile) and then, that ice will come right off with little effort.
