A bit untraditional but if you’re like me and need a firmer pillow that won’t have your ear grazing aaaaanything… this has worked for me for a consecutive full year of sleeping on it:
I teach 3rd and I’m also 9 weeks 3 days. The fatigue hits me during the second half of the day. I bought a desk pillow. I’ve also found that popping small candies here and there give me a little boost plus sipping ginger ale even if it’s flat. I try to leave right after school so that I can take another nap at home. I’ve also been super grumpy and have no patience. Still working on how to deal with that😩 Have you told your admin yet? I hope they’d be supportive and let you squeeze in naps during prep time?
This pillow has a hole in it and also an arch that would allow air/sound to get to the ear. I don't own this but now I am intrigued -it is affordable as well.
