There's a video for you with over 8M views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp37DPZVdRI Another one is this old Pace video that basically tells what you are trying to do with heat. It's like noob solder bible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIT4ra6Mo0s
Have fun. Soldering is fun and it doesn't take much to get into it. People will tell you that you need lots of gear, but not at first. You can solder a lot of stuff with just https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3 But you might want to get better 63/37 solder instead of what comes with the kit.
I've bought a couple of these https://www.amazon.com//dp/B08YDH8ZX3 and they work fine. I would recommend one with a digital display for temp control, instead of just the little twist knob. If you do have any issues with these little kits, it's probably the solder. Most of them come with crap solder. There are a lot of better soldering irons out there, but these are a great way to get a temp control iron with a few tips and tools for cheap just to see if you need something better.
I second the Pinecil. You will need a power supply and some other tips for it so it's not just $35. It does come with a normal small pointy TS-1 tip, but you will want others.
If you want to get started cheap these work ok. I've bought a couple of them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3 You will want to buy some decent solder. This is pretty good stuff with 14K reviews and won't break the bank https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076QF1Y85
I buy these super cheap soldering kits on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3
Sometimes they toss in a small bar of dried up violin rosin for free. I tried making something usable from some, but then I got some good stuff from Bangood and just tossed all the violin stuff.
Just start with cheap but functional to see what suits your needs.
Cheap but decent iron and tools: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3 $18.65 out the door now with Amazon Prime. I've bought 2 of them, and they are fine.
Cheap decent solder: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076QF1Y85 Never trust the solder that comes with cheap sets. Just get something half decent like this to start with.
You'll get a lot of recommendations to get Flux, a Pinecil, and a LOT of other stuff. But wait to see if you need all that. If you do, by all means upgrade.
These aren't bad either. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3 I like the temp control with the digital display and buttons instead of the twist knob. I used one of these to fix my big solder station that my dog chewed the power wire off of.
That solder station is good. I've bought one and it is ok. It heats up fast, and the calibration, F/C, sleep and other features all work.
I've also bought this kit for a lot less money. It works fine, but heats up slow, not as many features, but it also works. It does have a tip cleaner and a couple of things that you may find usefull. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDH8ZX3
If you are only going to solder a couple times I'd go cheap. If you want something nice, get the solder station.
