Get some angled speaker foam so the center channel is tilted upwards slightly. $15 later, you have the best of both worlds (good audio, good viewing angle). LINK
I little bit of overhang is fine since the stands themselves are so sturdy, maybe even look into getting some foam panels to place underneath the speaker. This adds a bit more surface area.
As for the biamping, u got it half right. It's a separate Amp for the woofers and tweeters. So most of time solid state for the woofers an tube for the tweeters. But I'm doing it more for fun, I'm not too sure yet if it's gonna be massive increase in sound quality but we'll see, it'll be different forsure.
If those ever give you issues at all, my pair of Eris E5's came with these. I think the company I bought from just through them in there. They work great and each side has two pieces which allow you to control the speaker angle a little bit. I'm always down for some cool DIY stuff too though, so I look forward to seeing some pictures.
Point them toward your ears. Toe in a bit, and some simple foam wedges to angle them up.
Something like this, or DIY equivalent.
I would get a foam wedge to isolate your speakers from the table in terms of vibrations and aim them more directly at your ears.
Most speakers are not build to be listened to from that angle above the tweeter. It will most likely cause a lot a phase issues and sound a lot worse
Something like this

just some foam pads I found on amazon to raise them a bit and prevent them from rattling my desk
I got the S20s at a good sale (refurbished and discounted) and I'm very happy with them. Look up Isolation pads for them like the ones here and be even happier.
Hey man if u want to take out some vibration and make it sound more full of a base something harder but still like a foam like texture.

Thanks! These are some very handy tips.
I'm in need of 2 1/4 TR cables to plug the monitors into the audio interface, any recommendations from Amazon?

Regarding the stand, since I have to buy cables anyway, would I benefit from something like this (amazon.com/gp/product/B0757LTZJJ?pf_rd_p=2d1ab404-3b11-4c97-b3db-48081e145e35&pf_rd_r=P6XPKWNF92AQE866JP4N), or is it a waste of money and better use book, as you said?
Most speakers sound a little better farther away from the wall. This is by room mind you. One of the fun things about playing with sound equipment is to try different things. Listen to a song where they are then move them to the front of the furniture, and listen to that song again. Did it sound better or worse to you? From a pic I have no idea what it sounds like but you can play with it. With foam for under them, the idea is that sound vibrations can travel through the surface the speakers are setting on. It can mess with your record player. Something like this. Theses might be overkill for your little guys. But it gives you the idea. https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Addicted-Isolation-Monitors-Acoustic/dp/B0757LTZJJ/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_267_bs_tr_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=KA0CP8PFCJCYKX8KZ4ZQ
I use angled acoustic foam pads for this. A laser pointer helps determine the angle it's shooting at. It makes a big difference in dialogue clarity.

If you do something like this you are probably going to need 2 sets because of how wide that center is. Based on the fit of your tv over the center channel you're probably only going to be able to use the thinner pad these come with.
Picked up a pair of these foam pads for the 530's. I had them on the glass table for the longest time and noticed quite a difference. No more rattling and the bass is exceptional now!
In the pic:
JBL 530's
Modi 2 MB
Emotiva A-500
HD800S
Valhalla 2 w/ different toooobs
Bimby
Custom cable (Navy/Black/Silver)
isolation stands/pads and that's about it. If you want to get fancy look into a better DAC for your PC, but that's not a biggy. I would just get a pair of isolation pads like these, but if you wanna get fancy you could get these.

Those are great speakers though and if you're trying to keep the setup low-key then you're doing a good job.
That is a lovely setup. Congrats.
If I may, I do suggest you buy Isolation Pads to decouple the speakers from the lowboard.
I got some isolation foam off amazon and put it under my speakers. just get a size that is almost a big as the base of the speaker.

or
Fill with stand and you should be all set to go. I wouldn't cheap out on the stands, makes a pretty big difference in sound signature.
I've recently posted my set up with the 600m's, Kanto Stands, Marantz NR1200 as Dac/ Streamer, Rotel RB1050 as Amp.
Enjoy listening myguy!
You’ll need some isolation pads so the vibrations from your speakers don’t affect your needle. Can damage both the record and the stylus.
I am not sure what would cause that issue. Speaker placement shouldn't matter because they are front ported. Make sure the speakers are toed in and that the speakers tweeters are pointed at your ears. Getting an isolation pad like this to sit underneath them may help with the reverb/echo, but the muddy bass may just be how they sound. If none of those solve the issue, I would personally return them and get a different pair of speakers. Maybe it is just that these speakers don't have the right sound signature for you.

Another pair of speakers at that price point that would sound great for desktop use would be the Polk S15's. They currently go for $152 on Amazon and sound fantastic. There is also the Sony SSCS5 speakers for $73. They normally run about $148 per pair and they hit well above their price point.
I got this, but it was a bit cheaper then. The most important thing with a center channel is to have the center of the drivers hit your ear level at listening height. Because so much of the center is dialogue based it can have a big impact on the overall presentation. It also might not. try with stuff youve got laying around the house first.

A great option is some foam like this really cost efficient and definitely makes a small difference worth 20$

These arent the ones I have, but its literally just foam so I think wlthr brand really doesnt matter. Find the ones that are cheapest and get those.
For example:

I use these pads. They look cleaner than sticking some eye sore doorstop in there.
Get some foam pads like this to both angle your speakers down and isolate them from vibrating the shelf. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0757LTZJJ/
You could use speaker isolation pads to aim them up a bit. They each come in two pieces that are angled so you can have them flat or angled.
It a combination of isolation pads and yoga blocks
ok, i'll give the one encores a shot.... they are a little bigger than i want, but let's see how it goes.
Any accessories? like these? i have a solid wood desk that the speakers would be on.
There are dacs with remote controls, but DSP/tone-controls and room-correction are another matter.
The most immediate solution is toe-in. Try making small adjustments to where your speakers are pointed: straight out into the room, directly at you, or even slightly towards each other. On my Klipsch towers, they recommend starting with the speakers pointed directly at you then turning them inward 10-15 degrees. You'd be surprised how much a small nudge can change the sound.
Another thought is that something else is vibrating to cause that nasally sound. You may want to invest in some BluTac (or whatever color) behind picture frames or on the corners of cabinet doors, etc. The next step up would be the BluTac or a foam pad under the speakers themselves to isolate them from the shelf or whatever they're sitting on.

If you still need a good dac with a remote:
They’re R-51PMs accompanied with an R-100SW (not shown). They sound fantastic especially with the paired subwoofer. Here are the speaker stands: Sound Addicted - Studio Monitor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0757LTZJJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These guys! I trimmed them though...

I got them off Amazon - Sound Addicted - Studio Monitor... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0757LTZJJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You can get some simple isolation foam pads like this.
Sound isolation foam.. something like these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0757LTZJJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EDZE6PENT2BMQ8FX2CYH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I'm not a coder but have a number of friends who are, and they seen enamored of "one portrait, one landscape" despite the aesthetic loss.
This is what I have under my LSR305's:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0757LTZJJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have used small bags of diving shot in the front to tilt up. I have also used (purchased) foam blocks that come at an angle, like these. They can be flat, down tilt, or up tilt.
I'm not talking about fully getting them off the desk. Just putting them on an isolating stand for desk based studio monitors will do a world of wonders for the sound quality. I use these little things: https://isoacoustics.com/iso-155-isolation-stands/ But even spending just $16 on some amazon basic monitor isolation foam: https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Addicted-Isolation-Monitors-Acoustic/dp/B0757LTZJJ/ would make a huge difference.
How old is your old amp?
some acoustic foam to isolate the speakers a bit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0757LTZJJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah I bet the reflections were crazy right on the desk. If you further isolate them, you will notice even more detail. Something like this:

Here you are... Hope this helps 👍 Underside desk 1 Underside desk 2
The foam pads are great. Got them on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0757LTZJJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I've got an older pair of Bronze 2's on my desk and these made a really significant difference.

Most will be about the same thing, so go as cheap as you can. These ones seemed to be the thickest I could find for the price.
Get yourself some sound isolation pads . They are tilted so the speakers will shoot sound closer towards the ear level and also will cancel out the vibrations.
