Check out reviews for this one. I have been using it for years. Comfortable and great back support. highly reviewed, and cheap.
This chair is incredible for the price.
and it doesnt look like a racing chair for a 12 year old.
Hey man, this isn't BIFL material but nothing is except the Hermon Millers and whatnot. I see others recommding the Markus, which is very popular.. but I've had both this and the Markus and the Amazon one blows the quality of the Markus out of the park. Very high quality chair for the price, but once again won't compare to a Miller.
I have two office chairs, one for my home office, and one for my "office" office. Both are outstanding in terms of quality, and both have held up with no structural changes for over the past 10 years.
My "office" office chair is a Herman Miller Aeron, and my home office chair is a knockoff, but every bit as solid. I know you're in Canada, so I'm sorry if you can't order this from Amazon, but here's the link anyway: http://www.amazon.com/Seating-Professional-AirGrid-Adjustable-Managers/dp/B000PWGZOI?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
Edit: I've actually only had the knockoff for 8 years. My apologies.
I mean it was an example, my point was simply that there is an option somewhere between a folding chair and an Herman Miller... Substitute any office supply store for Staples if you like.
Huge upgrade from what you have. Another user recommended a similar priced unit from IKEA.
Check out this chair. I bought one about a month ago and it has really helped my back out quite a bit. It's not as fancy as some other ones, but it really helps out my posture and back pain. http://www.amazon.com/SPACE-Seating-Professional-Leather-Managers/dp/B000PWGZOI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431673456&sr=8-1&keywords=space+chair
I bought this chair in 2018 and its very comfortable. Good back support, too, and very breathable.

this is what is use, it is no gaming chair but it checks all the boxes except for being a 'race car' seat. happy thanksgiving
It's this one over here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PWGZOI/ I got it back in 2014 for $137 but it looks like it's gone up since then.
I have this chair from Amazon as my main office chair, it competes with those $700 chairs in comfort...
pretty subjective. A lot of people use the racer chairs. I have an open room for an office though and dont want a chair that looks like a gaming chair for people to see.
this is the chair I am using
some reviews - chair is amazing.
It's not a miller chair, just a well-rated chair I saw on amazon.
I bought this a few months ago and really like it.
Super comfortable but over budget:
I bought this one 5 months ago and it seams nice. Pretty comfy and if I lean all the way back with my feet up I don't tip over. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PWGZOI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I currently have this chair and I love it. I’ve only had it for about 5 months, so I can’t comment on how well it holds up long term, but so far I’ve had no problems. I find it very comfortable, especially on my lower back.
I’ve heard good things about Herman Miller chairs as well, but they seem pricey.
I can recommend this chair for about 180 dollars (including tax). It can hold a good 400lb easy without creaking or showing signs of distress, the back is very breathable, and the cushion retains its shape very, very well.
I sit in this thing for maybe 8 hours a day, most every day. It's very comfortable, has good back support, and is an all-around good chair.
It's also cheap. Ish.
