Depends how much money you want to spend vs how compact you want it to be... You can do a cheapo compact hydraulic floor jack... It will give you the benefit of being more stable, and scissor jacks tend to be wobbly unless you are on perfectly level ground... If you want something more compact, you can go for one of those electric jacks like this which is basically an electrically actuated bottle jack.... Or you can find a low profile bottle jack.
