I use the Medusa Speedlink
I will try removing the splitter, and I will look for a software that shows sound output per channel... I will then play in Windowed mode so that I can look at the output levels while playing.
Will keep you posted!
Alright guys, I got a pair of headphones for a really cheap price of $32 and the quality of those is really satisfying for me. They're slowly braking down and I want to see if I can get any better headphones in the low budget price range or if I should stick with these. Recommendation of well known brands would be appreciated because I need to buy them in local shops (where those exotic brands don't ship to) since buying online is out of the question.
Budget - $50 , can stretch to $65
Source - PC
Type - Over ear
Isolation - Preferred, but not really the most important
Usage - Gaming for the most part, 90% of it being Counter-Strike
Current headphones - SPEEDLINK MEDUSA NX - got them for $32, that's usually how much they cost in the local shop, dunno why they're so expensive online
Looking to improve - Durability and sound quality or any other improvement in general
PS: Additional question that doesn't really belong here: I purchased several new headsets with mics and ALL mics die in a matter of hours, am I doing something wrong or is the quality of mics that are included with headsets just usually shitty?
