Keep your belt clip and get these instead. I have these one every drill I own and every drill my employees use. They hold up well in South Carolina summers!

Love the power of the impact. Got one for Christmas this year and wow. What a game changer. My only complaint is there is not a place to put common bits. Got these things and work fantastically well. Fit perfect on sides of the brushless drill and driver. It’s the spider bit gripper, $16 cad for a 2 pack. Works perfect because I’m constantly switching between a Robbie and a Phillips, and it’s held up okay so far. I trimmed the edges of mine before I stuck it on so it has a bit of a lower profile

I use these on my M12s and like them a lot

There are some bit holder attachments to put on your drill on amazon
I personally have a small disc magnet I keep in my pocket that keeps my bits all in one place given that I'm rarely in a situation residentially where I'm tryin to drill but can't access my pockets. Also holds onto screws, staples, etc.
I have the Spider Tool Holster. on my Milwaukee M12 Fuel Impact. Great for trimming out when you need to switch between Phillips and Roberson.
The bit holder is from Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07XGCR2FQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And the #1 Phillips bit is from EAB Stay Sharp Torsion Impact Bit. I purchased it in a set from Rona in Canada, they’re sold separately too
I got them from Amazon, here’s the link: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07XGCR2FQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
No it doesn’t go in the screw hole, it’s sticks on with 3M adhesive
This particular bit holder that I have on this drill is: Spider Tool Holster - BitGripper... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07XGCR2FQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
But for my bigger 20V DeWalt drills I use this:

I use these
I’ve been using these for a while and they work great!
