Same as any other dry herb vape the most smell is from my bud or if you go a little to long or hot with a dry herb vape and combust that will smell alot when your done the grounds go from green to a coffee brown but as far as the vapor goes it smells a little more then a dab pen/cart and I keep my herb in a smell proof box along with it and when I pull it all out after a bowl or 2 put it all away and light a candle smells gone in usally 10 min or so even without a candle I also use a sploofy u don't have to buy them but this is the one I have.

I just got a crafty last week so I don't have much to add aside from the smell is milder, but still certainly there. I also have a kid and when using CBD during the day inside I will use one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N6GKC2B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_2NFFNRMEH6BWA0PYKD6W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and as long as I blow through it slowly it works pretty well.
Maybe try a Sploofy? I never have, but read good things about them. I usually just go in the bathroom, turn the fan on, stand on the ledge of the bathroom as close to the fan as possible, and blow the smoke into it, spray air freshener, light a candle, and keep the fan on & door closed for awhile. 😄
The plastics in the mighty are all heat-stable to well over operating temperature. The aluminum oven is housed in PEEK, so are the arizer vapes, it's a great material. Imo the amount of cooling has more effect than the material of the end of the vapor path. The mighty is very consistent. It's no longer my favorite, but it's definitely the one I'll throw in my bag if I'm going over to a friend's place. It's also got one of the better warranty situations. 2 year coverage even just on the non-user-replaceable batteries made me feel better about the purchase.
I definitely feel the need for discretion w/re living situation. On demand devices tend to smell up a room less than session vapes, as they're not cooking the herb between hits. So maybe another mark in favor of tinymight. I've also had good luck with the Sploofy for keeping smells down where I vape. All you really need is the mouthpiece and the filter canister, but I unravel a couple cotton balls and stuff the mouthpiece. It seems to knock out a lot of the residual vapor before it gums up the filter. But even just an open window and some air freshener is way more effective with any vaporizer than with smoking. It'll still smell like herb, still baking herb in an oven, even if it's small. But without the smoke it's just the herbal smell.
There is a device available on Amazon that is a portable HEPA filter you can breathe smoke into. Cuts down on the smell about 50-60%, and the smoke 100%. Great investment for discreet smokers.
Joints not recommended for discretion, though. Hard to keep the smell and smoke contained. Get a little weed pipe or a portable silicone bong. That way you can put out the cherry after you've inhaled.
I love weed, but I can’t stand stale indoor smoke.
Your best bet: buy this and say something like “hey, can I talk to you real quick? I didn’t realize how much it would affect me, but all the smoke is kind of bothersome. Would you mind using this when you’re smoking inside?”
It isn’t very fair that you have to buy it, but I think that’d be more effective than telling them about it and hoping they’ll buy it.
I’d also recommend picking up some ozium, it cleans the air and your apt will smell fresh seconds after spraying it.
Invest in one of these, partner. Replaceable biodegradable cartridges for around $11 each and they last me at least a month.
I use Sploofy (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N6GKC2B/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_10MSTWFW2AVBQJTEGT0V). Works well enough for me but not 100% perfect.
I've been using one of these for 2-3 years now and it works great. https://www.amazon.com/Sploofy-Personal-Air-Filter-Replaceable/dp/B07N6GKC2B
Get a Sploofy. You should be fine with concentrates if you exhale into this. Maybe even with a flower vape depending on the device. Not with smoking though.
This thing is awesome.
Try out a Sploofy...it does the same thing, but works better in my experience.
Hey man! I have been using every day since 2017 (age 18) until 3 days ago (22 now) with only a few days off, probably less than 2 weeks total. I live in an off-campus house and have 2 housemates who smoke every day, and one that smokes occasionally and doesn't struggle with dependency.
I also am using grounded for the first time and honestly, I find that it's a great app. Make sure you use the check-in function, I do every morning. It really helps me to be transparent with myself on there about what my cravings are like, what my mood and outlook are like, even how weird my dreams were the night prior (cuz that shit gets crazy anytime i stop, even if just a day or two.) Also just looking at that clock tick upwards gives a real sense of validation, almost like setting PR in a video game or sport or something every time I look at it.
As for the housemate thing, a good way to start is by respectfully asking them to either take it outside, or at least into a room with an open window and a fan. If they are smoking in a main living area then you are undoubtably going to be breathing in second hand thc, thus making your honest efforts fruitless without any of your own misdoings. They should be considerate enough to do so, you are all on the same lease and paying the same rent, and if they pushback on it you might want to consider subletting and finding an apartment or some alternative because that is very toxic and selfish energy to be around. I also got this handy thing on amazon recently https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N6GKC2B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -and can tell you with certainty that if they snap their bowls properly and exhale into this sploof, the air in the house will be much much cleaner (provided they are still doing it in a private space- it's really hard to make sure absolutely zero smoke goes in the air)
hope this helped !
Edit: and* a fan, not or
I will smoked just about any place I live, you just gotta be smart. No blunts or joints, just a bowl from your favorite apparatus. Me and me roomie smoke in the living room usually, so we have one of the airwick things that periodically sprays sit freshener into the room. Additionally, you can buy these candles on Amazon (Beamers is the brand I think? The candles come in a jar) that have enzymes in the wax that prevent the smoke smell from sticking to anything, but don't do much in the way of actually eliminating smell as you are smoking.
Lastly, adjust your smoking habits a bit. Buy a sploof and get in the habit of using it (smoke buddy or sploofy are my suggested brands, with a preference towards sploofy because you can just buy filter replacements rather than having to get a whole new sploof). After you take a hit cover the bowl with your hand or something else to limit the amount of unfiltered smoke escaping into the room.
Happy toking! Here are some links:
