The Sporn Pet Halter is nice because it has the security of a regular collar but functions as a harness so it wouldn't put pressure on her trachea.
My dog has proven able to escape from almost all of the harnesses we've tried. The Sporn harness is good because it includes a regular collar as part of the harness, so even if the dog can get its legs out the collar should stay on. My other approach is the Easy Walk harness with a leash coupler connecting it to my dog's regular collar as back-up.
