If your tv is floating with no shelf underneath it, you need to float the soundbar with something similar to this.

This leans on the tv so no mounting needed. But it will be on top
Was in a similar situation. Picked up on of these.
Stanley ATS-124 TV Top Shelf-Large Size, 24-Inch Width https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T8U6CHS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Used a couple of small pieces of double sided tape on the sound bar for extra security. Not the most elegant design, but works well, and really don't notice the height after a while
Wow, those look perfect for my needs -- I'll google around, but if you have any links handy to similar brackets that you'd recommend, I'd really appreciate it. And thanks for the photo and info!
Quick edit: I found this, which doesn't seem to use the wall mounting brackets; I wonder if it'd shake the hell out of tv...
I also have Micca MB42x-C and have been using this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T8U6CHS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 on my sony 65-inch for the past 5.5 yrs without any issues. Easy to install (probably 5min tops) and works well.
Get this. Works like a charm.
I have something similar to this I bought a few years ago. Works great!
I have this above-TV stand that works amazingly for my center channel. I can even angle the center channel down, and it doesn't require any vesa mounting.
