Not just behavioral psych, but like, general psych, any biology, primatology and statistics. Very few here understand why statistics matter, very few understand why you can't just make blanket statements about anecdotes, almost all think that 'the plural of anecdotes is data!' as if that means something/is relevant to how we form empirical and/or "better guess" conclusions (it isn't). I think a lot of people here would also froth at the mouth at the suggestion that sexual dynamics can be empirically deduced and isn't irreducibly complex, and most broad strokes claims about relationships can be tested using survey methodologies. People are too distrustful of certain techniques without really understanding what the fuck they're talking about.

Maybe. I think the most common exposure are recent breakups/being cheated on. I remember seeing a couple surveys a few years back about it and it makes sense that a resentment driven community would in fact be driven by resentment, although at the moment I see so much subdivision on Redpill forums (and it has been this way for years) that I can hardly consider it a single ideology anymore. It is really just an admixture of many types of dudes, some of which are not completely pathetic, most of which definitely are.
