At my last job I got to pick out an office chair for myself and ended up going with the Steelcase Leap. I also have horrible posture and found that it offered great support and appeared to be wearing very well (I had it for about 3 years before leaving for another position). You're able to make a lot of little adjustments to customize it to your preferences. I'm pretty sure I bought one of the "like new" ones from the seller Madison Seating Outlet and it was indeed like new and saved a lot of money.
You may want to talk to/look at other certified dealers. When I went to try steelcase and HM chairs recently at a local dealers, they approximated (I didn't ever get a quote) around $700 for the Leap, and I was quoted for $937 for a fully loaded B sized Aeron.
The further price discrepancy, as far as I can tell, is that the HM and Steelcase online stores both offer return periods, where both dealers had no return policy.
If you're okay with the standard black leap, it's on sale for $736 on Amazon, and has Amazon's extended holiday return policy. (I'm pretty sure these are brand new as long as you purchase via Amazon instead of 3rd party, I've been contemplating this myself)
Steelcase. Bought used on Amazon for $249 after reading reviews of them coming in brand new condition. Which was exactly how mine came. Check the used options here:

There's a steelcase in the $700 range. I'm pretty sure I've seen them closer to $700 elsewhere. I do not know if they're dealers or not. Does that actually matter? If so, that's some BS. They should warrant their products no matter where they came from.
i have something similar to this, https://www.amazon.com/Steelcase-Leap-Fabric-Chair-Black/dp/B006H1QYBA/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_196_bs_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G1HPB5XY8VYWV4W3TJ9D
the armrests i have can be adjusted to move inward or outward.
I got two of them off craigslist for $150. they are very heavy chairs, but worth it
Just find a Steelcase Leap on Craigslist if you can. I picked one up for $250 and have never sat in anything as comfortable throughout my entire life. http://www.amazon.com/Steelcase-Leap-Fabric-Chair-Black/dp/B006H1QYBA
Edit: additionally, if this chair ever broke down on me, I'd be willing to pay full price for a new one. It's that good. The chair puts Aerons to shame.
My chair is actually crazy expensive, but I got it used for a fraction of the price. Still more expensive than your average staples chair, but much comfier and will last way longer. I was having some back problems before but they mostly went away after I upgraded.
What a find! Thanks for sharing. I ordered 3, one for myself and one each for my parents. Hopefully they can be disassembled because otherwise packing them into a car will be a bit annoying.
For the lurkers the steelcase is in a similar class as the Herman Miller Aeron (was actually saving up to buy one...) and tends to have slightly more positive reviews. All in all it would be tough to get this chair new for less than $1000 AUD.

Hi, if you want top, but expensive chair you should go for Steelcase (http://www.amazon.com/Steelcase-Leap-Fabric-Chair-Black/dp/B006H1QYBA) or Herman Miller (http://www.amazon.com/Aeron-Task-Chair-Herman-Miller/dp/B0014YGGKE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1451676984&sr=8-3&keywords=herman+miller). Its really expensive for chair, but you dont need to buy new chair ever again.
If you want something cheaper Ikea Markus is fairly popular and not bad especially for the money (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60309732/#/70261145). The middle ground in my opinion would be some ergonomic chair from brand like Office Pro (or your regional equivalent) - for this your best shot is just go to the chair store, try chairs in your price range, sit, lean and test and than take your favourite. Personally, Im not fan of "gaming chairs" I think you can get better chair in same price range, when you go for office or ergonomic chair. I hope this helped and wasnt too long and boring to read!
