correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the same mouse cheaper on amazon and free shipping? https://www.amazon.ca/SteelSeries-Rival-Optical-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0160USMW6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490220471&sr=8-1&keywords=steelseries+rival+300
Just to double check, do you mean this one?
I only ask because I bought a Deathadder from Amazon and it turned out to be a newer model that's apparently smaller than the one I owned before.
A mouse is a very personal thing.. depends on your hands and grip, not even mentioning aesthetic. Personally I use a Steelseries Rival https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Rival-Optical-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B0160USMW6 It's got a solid sensor and I have medium-large hands and like the fitment a lot. Used mainly for CSGO. If you have a local plavce like Best buy with mice on display you should go check it out there in person, and they will also price match as well.

I have had this one for probably close to a year now and its been nothing but wonderful. Also the steel series software that it comes with is great for customizing the extra buttons on there.
Steelseries Rival 300! I havr 2 of them and they're great. apparently they really dropped in price They used to be 60 or 70 when I got mine. You use their software to set your dpi sens and set the scroll wheel and logo colors. then it saves to the mouse and you can delete the software if you're not going to change the settings again in the future. I switched to these mice after having a deathadder start double clicking after about 6 months.
Hey guys so I'm building up and old laptop and am in need of a mouse. On my desktop, I use a Rival 300 . The issue is the cord is really long and the size isn't so suitable for my laptop's portability. Are there similar portable mice out there (planning on playing a lot of csgo lul)? Thanks!
Budget: 50 USD
I would also recommend to check you out the Steelseries Rival 300. Although it may look like a big mouse, it is really comfortable when you are using it, especially for palm grip users, despite the fact that I have quite small hands. You can also customize the DPI (CPI) settings up to 6500 DPI, as well as the lights. Also when you play CS:GO there is a built-in engine to the mouse, so if you have low health, the light of the mouse starts to change from green to yellow to red. Also, if you buy it from the website, it comes with a free qck mousepad too.
Just a heads up, Amazon has it for this price as well if that's a better option for you.

What grip do you mainly use? I recommend the Steelseries Rival 300 for palm grip. Also the Razer Death Adder Chroma seems to be at $50 on amazon

Its $45 but i would highly suggest you pay the premium. So good.
Edit: fixed the link
I will let one of the other nice folks of Reddit answer your monitor question. I'm a noob in that regard. My personal setup is a 144hz monitor but looks like you need a 60hz. I'm not sure what the best 60hz monitors are.
I will give you a few extra pointers and suggestions from my latest build a few months ago.
Mice are generally purely preference. I've never heard of the brand in your build so I'm a bit concerned of the quality. I personally enjoy the Steelseries Rival. SteelSeries Rival 300, Optical Gaming Mouse - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0160USMW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_OT0CzbXGGKJY2
That ram you have in your build seems expensive. I was able to get a set of trident RGB ram for $111 on a Newegg sale. Keep an eye on r/buildapcsales and sign up for Newegg sale emails. Depending on when you buy, you should be able to find a better price than $120 for 16gb.
I'm not sure if Jet is still offering the Triple15 deal or something similar for new customers. But basically the first 3 purchases I made were 15% off capping at $30 max. So I got my 3 most expensive items from them and it was cheaper than anywhere else. Look into that and keep it in mind if you weren't aware of it already.
I'm not sure if your MoBo will support it, but I spent $23 on a cablemod RGB light strip that makes the S340 Elite look awesome. Totally doing nothing for your performance, just added aesthetics.
One thing to keep in mind for the S340 Elite. Mine only came with two exhaust fans (rear back exhaust and top rear exhaust). I bought two additional fans for front intake to improve the airflow in my case. I bought a pair of fan splitters to connect both sets of two fans to one fan connection on the MoBo each because I only had two fan connectors on the MoBo.
Edit: I checked your MoBo specs: "4 x 4-pin system fan connectors 1 x 4-pin RGB LED strip connector"
You won't need fan splitters if you want to hookup 4 case fans. You can also add an RGB light strip CableMod WideBeam Magnetic LED Strip RGB - 60cm / 30 LEDs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7RSXUA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Ac1Czb0D7K2A8
Again, light strip totally unnecessary. Just looks awesome. You could always add it in down the road.

I see. This would be a good option.
If youre willing to put out $10 more I recommend the steel series rival 300 or the Logitech G402
If you dont use NCIXUS and go with Amazon you can get both of those mice cheaper Rival + G402
I dont have the G402 but theres a big community for its big brother the G502 and a few friends use it saying its one of the best mice they own
>OR WHAT OTHER ONE WOULD YOU recommend under $50
How about https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0160USMW6 ?
SteelSeries Rival ($40) and Razer Deathadder ($60) are the mice I like for gaming.
Something like this for the keyboard: CM Storm QuickFire Rapid ($82)
I feel like the Rival and QuickFire Rapid together at $122 is a great deal.
Rival 300 I own 2, they're lovely
