It's not a "headset", but I use a pair of skullcandy earbuds with the in-line mic. I also have a cheap headset I bought off of amazon, it gets the job done, but it's a bit light on padding in the headband, sounds fine and I haven't had any issues with the mic
The link to the one I have is below,

I've been using these with a cheap adapter. I have been extremely impressed. I was using Steel Series Siberia's before.
I don't know about those but I bought these These a year ago and they did the job. Granted you get what you pay for

Seriously, I bought the Red ones (since it matches the rest of my cheap build) and the only problem I have had is catching the volume control on my arm rest when I move from time to time
With pleasure. Ive had this headset since 2014. Its served me well but now that im doing lets play its definetly time to upgrade. At least the mic. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DU2CHE2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00
If youre still looking ive got a pair i will sell for 10 plus shipping. http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2
EDIT: in the amazon link it says they're for mac, but my gf used them for the past 4 months on the pc I built her.
This is the one I've been using. I have absolutely no complaints. Was hesitant because of the low price, but I've had them for about 6 months now and have had 0 issues.
Yes, I saw a ton of headsets like those! I guess the only problem is they have two different 3.5mm plug connections (one for audio, one for mic). I saw this one: http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1437433975&sr=8-1&keywords=gaming+headset
Apparently it is rated pretty good on Amazon, but it has those two aux cables, not sure if this works on the Xbox One?
We'll try to get some text chat in there in the future for people without mics but we try to encourage everyone to have one since the conversations just flow so much more nicely. Hearing someones real laugh rather than 'hahaha' is nice too :)
This was the cheapest / good enough reviews headset I could find on Amazon. We have two for when we demo. They arent super comfy for hours at a time but are a good set to start with:
Not at the moment but we're thinking about some sort of text chat soon.
Mic is usually best. Giving people a sense of your voice is really nice for presence and feeling like you're in a real space where you can hear who's behind you, to your side, etc.
We bought a few of these for demos. Cheapest ones we could find that still seem alright: http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2/ref=lp_402053011_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1434057831&sr=1-3
Sades sa 708 is a great cheap headset. A friend gave me a pair because he didn't like the glossy finish and how light they were, they felt cheep he said. But after 4 months of use, I haven't had any issues.

It's cheap and it works! I am all about simplicity when it comes to accessories. The headset has a mic which is aimed so you don't blow into it. Also it is good if you wear glasses like me because of the cushions.
It also has a switch to turn off the mic if you want! I am glad I found it, it has lasted me two years now and no issues.
Top rated headset on amazon in your price range atm.
Unless you want headphones. Then i can check again.
i used to have this one. i found it very tolerable. http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1463892088&sr=8-5&keywords=headset

I had these for 2 years now and they still work great.
http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2 probably wouldn't be worth fixing, it's cheap as hell.
Why not just buy a full headphone with a mic? I use a full headphone with mic, plug it into the controller, and route all sound + mic to the controller.
Something like this'll work perfectly.
I use this, which comes out as a Mic and Headphone jack, so I use an adapter to convert it back into one.
My sister uses these for league. Seem to work well enough for her.
Non-mobile: I have a ton of headphones, surprisingly I use these most often
^That's ^why ^I'm ^here, ^I ^don't ^judge ^you. ^PM ^/u/xl0 ^if ^I'm ^causing ^any ^trouble. ^WUT?
They are cheaper on amazon.Fix your post.http://www.amazon.com/SA-708-Stereo-Headphone-Headset-Microphone/dp/B00DU2CHE2
Looking for a nice headset that is wireless. The one I have now is the SADES SA-708 Stereo Gaming Headphone Headset with Microphone. Here's a link to the Amazon page http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DU2CHE2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 I would like something similar to these that's wireless pretty much. And like everybody I would like it to be cheap. If anyone can help thank you
I have this headset, and it's surprisingly good for the price. I set on TeamSpeak all day, no one complains about mic issues or trouble hearing me. The sound on them is quite good as well, and they've held up several months now.
