I got a roll of velcro like (just for example), this one on Amazon.
The roll has two strips of velcro, the hook side and the loop side. Both of these strips have adhesive on the back, covered by a paper strip.
I put my skate on and laced it up the way I normally do (3rd hook), and measured the width of the exposed tongue above the laces.
I cut a section of the hook tape just shorter than the width of exposed tongue. Pull the paper strip off the back, carefully align over the exposed tongue, and press to adhere.
Then I cut another section roughly as long as the first, and adhered that to the ankle of the boot on the side opposite the way that the tongue wants to lean, lined up with the strip on the tongue.
Then I used a different roll of velcro without adhesive backing - the kind meant for sewing - and cut a section off the loop strip that was as long as the combined length of the two hook sections already stuck to the boot.
Then every time I laced up, I leaned forward into the boot, and secured the tongue with the loop strip. I readjusted as necessary while skating.
This was only required while the boot was breaking in. I have long since stopped using it. I've never tried to remove the strips from the skate, the adhesive is quite secure, and as far as I'm concerned, permanent.
I do not know how well any particular adhesive will stick to the suede finish of a Lolly boot.
I use Velcro Strips for mine. I cut the tape to fit parts of the sprites. It has worked really well so far. I've only had once incident with a sprite falling off the wall. That was a combo of not using enough Velcro and where I did place it I didn't iron well enough (beads separated).
Why not cut the decal with the cricut first and affix the Velcro to the back afterward? It’s easy to cut thin strips of Velcro - just make sure you have matching top and bottom, and obviously cut both halves at the same time. I recommend self adhesive Velcro like this
Yea, I just bought a small roll off Amazon. The drive has been in my HTPC for a few months now and the sticky side and velcro are still good to go. This is what I used specifically!
Could it be possible to put velcro tape on the bottom of the car and on the shelf they sit on? I'm not sure how well the sticky back would adhere to the bottom of the cars or if it would leave any residue on them though.
edit: Never mind, after looking at pictures of the bottom of a 1:24, it doesn't look like it would be smooth enough to put that velcro tape on.
Velcro strips and strong magnet knife holders. Yes, they stay in place! Took it out for a spin last night just to test it.
Good idea. Velcro strips cost almost nothing, though. https://www.amazon.com/Strenco-Inch-Self-Adhesive-Hook/dp/B00FQ937NM
Sure, here are the link to the velcro strips and tin cans
1: They are pretty durable. I run a few of them on my AWS LAB and they don't seem to have any issues and don't seem to be very brittle. A good improvement to these is to add some hook velcro tape to the inside, so they interface with your liner belt.
2: It will slide along the belt unless you secure it. With the LAB I use one of the supplied panels in the middle of a 2+1 esstac pouch to prevent sliding, but with the SMU you will need to do something slightly different. Either use velcro onewrap (example here, but just buy the bulk stuff and cut your own) on the middle section, which will allow the pouch to interface to both sides of the velcro, or use the above method of velcro tape to secure it to the liner belt and hope you don't have a belt loop blocking it.
3: You can do that, but trying to get a WTFix strap in the middle while having belt loops on the edges is going to be huge hassle and will make taking off/moving the pouch very difficult.
Another note: a triple pistol mag pouch is a great option if you plan on running only pistol, or if you are doing competition, but for a rifle-centered loadout a lot of people run just one or two backup pistol mags. That really comes down to setup intent, but it's something to consider. Let me know if you need pics as I have all of the above options set up on a belt.
Got them from a local shop, but you can find them in Amazon, they are similar to this:

I'm bored and have nothing else going on.
This Velcro tape on amazon is $8.25 and is 15' feet of 1" inch wide tape. You could probably get away with doing an inch of gap between each strip so let's do the math really quick.
According to this site, the average counter-top depth is 25.5". To cover one inch of width of that with a 1" gap it would be 25.5" / (1"+1") = 12.27"
Our 15 foot tape then will roughly cover (15' x 12") / 12.27" = 14.67"
Lets round that down to 14.5" of counter space. So in order to cover 6 feet (width) of countertop you would need (6' x 12") / 14.5" = 4.96
or 5 rolls of that tape. Bringing your total cost to $41.25. I would make sure to only cover the places the cat will actually jump, and you could increase the gap to get more per roll if you wanted. Just adjust the formulas above to see how much you can get by with.
Got it from a shop, it´s 2.5 cm wide (1 Inch) adhesive back velcro, similar to this...
