NTA - It's your room, even if you only use it sporadically. Jane can get herself a loft bed and throw a desk underneath or get one of those cheap rolling laptop carts. She should do this anyway, as taking over communal space is an AH move when there are other options.

This is what I have my setup. There’s a giant window on my right and because of the rig it’s kinda far away from my cardboard wall.

I can prop a piece of wood or something in the other side of my support which is something like the one in the link. It may allow for heavier stuff.
