It's an okay enclosed rack and probably not much cheaper for one with good depth and fully enclosed. I have one sitting behind me with a Supermicro 2RU case sitting in it.

As to your other question, I'm in Canada so Amazon tends to be the cheapest for SSD (new egg close) for the U.S ymmv.
