I know they sell them at the Tower of London, but I’d imagine they’re priced up for tourists. I got one there of pretty good good quality, but if you’d rather buy online they’re pretty cheap on amazon

Well, It's not a full set of armor, I'm just a peasant and can't afford it, but you can get the helmet, the chainmail coif and the tunic for a fair price on Amazon (You should have a strong neck though, it's all quite heavy and not easy to wear).

n00b question here:

I got tasked with cleaning up our Amazon FBA account so I'm trying to learn along the way.

Our company is SZCO Supplies. It's being advertised as being sold by us but we've only sold Amazon FBA (Via vendor central) 66 pieces since last October. The helmet has 422 reviews, and it's being sold by other people. The item number is not ours. We are not on seller central.

Question 1) How are other people selling a listing claiming our helmet when it's not? (i checked the pics in the reviews and saw a competitors logo) 2) Since I'm FBA, Shouldn't I get preference for the buy box? How can I win back the buy box, if at all? 3) How can I edit the listing? 4) Just general confusion, how someone can originally create a listing for one of our items then use it to sell their own? A bunch of the reviews are also poor so the bad reviews reflect negatively on us, not the people shipping the item.

A helmet under 100 honestly isn’t good quality, and if your head is any bigger than below average it won’t fit. And the tunic is very low quality. It’s definitely worth saving up a bit and getting better gear if you go to tons of festivals and cons. Though they will do great for a quick costume.

Well well we have the same idea. im a bit further along tho. i must insist on this helmet from Amazon, its $50 but it is THE iconic helmet. exactly what you see in 90% of the memes

also consider getting padding to wear under the helmet. tho depending on your head size, like me, it might make it hard to see out the eye holes

various good chainmail on amazon too. consider getting LONG sleeve chaimail. that is usually what you see a crusader wearing, though i got the short sleeve. and remember to wear something thick and long sleeve under the chainmail. it should NOT be touching your skin. (chainmail will run you $60-$100)

the most important thing is having the Helmet and Tabard.

Chaimail, Cape, Gloves, Boots, and a good belt+sword holster are good details to add. Also consider a nice medieval looking belt pouch

and seriously. get a sword holster if you want to have a sword on your belt. dont just tuck a sword in your belt. ittl bother you all day

The tabard is easy to make for someone with basic sewing skills, i got my mother to make mine infact.

i wore just a helmet and tabard to Comic Con and i was suprised by how much attention it got, got about 200 "Deus Vults" from passerbys, and even a few confused "Praise the suns" thinking i was solaire (i was honored)

Have you considered just buying a cheap one if it's just for a costume? Even vs. making it yourself, $60 is pretty tough to beat.

If you're serious about wearing one make sure you spend the money on the padded liner as well. Same physics as a football helmet, won't do much good without the padding.
