Edit: I think you're asking me what it's like to write about films? Some people find the politics, turnarounds, cancellations, and delays as fascinating as the film that is ultimately produced. Anyone really interested in that should read Tales from Development Hell. The author went on to write a similar book just for Sci-Fi films never made.
