I'd recommend looking into the Tama Silverstar Jazz kit. A bit more expensive than the breakbeats set, but I think the quality of the shells will be better. Unless you really don't think you'll use toms, then you might be able to look into custom ordering a standalone bass drum from a more high end kit in a size you might want (maybe a 20x16 or 18x14). Just some options to look into.
