kind of like these, i searched battery powered disk light and there's lots of different options including remote operated ones even (just linking the closest to what I described but the others seem maybe even better, also I'm on mobile excuse the chunky link)
I love these lights so much. They’re small enough that it’s not too overpowering and turn on/off by pressing them

Hi! So the lights I like the most come from Amazon. puck lights
They are battery powered, I’ve been running them about 6 hours a day, everyday for 3 weeks so far and I don’t need a battery change yet.
I should also mention that when I cast this piece, I left some negative space in the bottom. The lights are about 2.5 inches wide and 3/4 inch tall. So leave a space in your cast and the light fits perfectly.
Easiest, open the trunk.
Slightly harder but sill very easy, get a few puck lights like these. One on each side and it's all you need.
Amazon cheapos. I have not run one all the way down but I would guess I have over 8 hours from my testing thus far and they are still bright.
For those looking for the Amazon link here you go.

If you're open to not using strips, I used something like this in the past,
