The pain I have starts in my heels and runs up to my hips. If it's the same for you, I recommend trying out some kind of compression sleeve like this one on Amazon. For the price they're very durable and helped my pain a lot.
If Dr Scholl's doesn't work out for you, Superfeet does recommend products based on your specific needs (you have to fill out a form online). They're super nice and their customer service is really good. I thought I had flat feet, but it turned out I had high arches. Their insoles were the best for me personally, and I've tried many different kinds.
With that said, I have seen a lot of mixed reviews from people with flat feet. Some people love them, particularly the runners' line. Also, once you cut those insoles, Superfeet won't accept returns. So if you do decide to try their products, try putting the insole in a larger pair of shoes when testing them out.
