I have a backorder from MOMA store that I made in February (because I’m a member so get 20% discount AND I had a $100 gift card to use), MOMA was estimating them to be in stock today but I have a sinking feeling that I’ll still be waiting a long time and wish I could just hit that buy now button on Amazon! 😞
"That looks like it would be fun to play with"
googles
"Maybe I'll just get a ukulele"
YMMV, but I just ordered one from the German Amazon site:
I chose the Amazon Prime listing and since VAT should get removed outside of the EU, mine worked out to 564EUR, approx $600
-- EDIT --
Looks like they have upped the price after I purchased, so it's closer to $700 now after VAT removal and delivery.
I see it's listed as 1,264 on Amazon prime, not sure if that's truly next day or not, but it's listed at $900ish everywhere else. I think I paid $950ish after taxes.
I actually purchased one about a year ago and barely use it...thinking about parting with it. I still have it in it's original box too. If I was in Seattle, would you buy it from me?
But that’s not Amazon’s return policy.
“This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt.”

It doesn't produce any sounds on its own. Just controls either software or hardware, which requires its own speaker. There are small devices that can do a lot and that have built in speakers like this this one, but they are pretty pricey. The built in speaker is also not nearly going to be as good as a proper one of course, or even just plugging in headphones. Something like this would probably be better for someone wanting to make beats within a software program, or a groovebox like this one for working outside a computer (though it will be more limited than what you can make within a software program)

Hahahaha I don't think that's happening any time soon.
