It stepped up my pizza game hugely since I've started doing it this way. You could do it in a standard oven with the temp at max, no stone because all you're looking for is colour.
For pan, I use a dosa pan which is dead flat and super easy to move pizza on and off. No lie, this is insane. No more soggy bottom.
