Seems a little custy / spendy but nice features. Anyone used one ?
It took me a minute to realize this wasn't a ham radio reddit.
For a base station, I'd get this or something similar, https://www.amazon.com/TekPower-TP30SWII-Analog-Switching-Supply/dp/B00L2M2Y5O/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=ham+radio+power+supplies&qid=1606674927&sr=8-4.

Don't worry too much about how much the power supply can give, it's the draw that matters; the midland won't draw more than a power supply can handle unless maybe it's a wallwart configuration.
Here is a better and much SAFER power supply

I've been using the Alinco varient of this one for about 10 years without issues. https://www.amazon.com/TekPower-TP30SWII-Analog-Switching-Supply/dp/B00L2M2Y5O/ref=sr\_1\_3?keywords=alinco+power+supply&qid=1639331433&sr=8-3
I burned (no pun intended) through several "budget friendly" power supplies before grabbing this one and I have no complaints since. It's a little more - But it runs well and it runs cool (and quiet - rear-firing fan, etc.).

And yeah - if it won't blow the budget, that Alinco DM-330MVT is a great unit.
I'd go with the IC-7300, You're getting not only a modern, VERY good SDR receiver; but a built in Antenna tuner as well. While it's not as good as an aftermarket tuner like an LDG, It'll let you push buying the better tuner down the road a bit.

The Ft-991 isn't a bad choice either; but the SDR technology really cements the 7300 in my book.
Keep in mind You'll also need a power supply; I'm using a Tekpower TP30SWII and it's been nothing but solid.
