Thanks! So far I purchased a Nikon D5300, a 2 inch Ultra Wide T Adapter so I can put the optolong l-enhance 2 inch and have it go to the telescope focuser. Will I need any more distance or is that fine? Here is the adapter for my camera.

I plan on buying the HEQ5. I have been looking around and everyone seems to praise this mount. I have a guidescope/camera picked out (the starshoot autoguider of course, unless you think I can get a cheaper one that is still good).
I see a lot of good things about the WO Z73, there's obviously negatives too but everything comes with negatives. It fits in my price range, I can easily find it, and I hear it has great quality despite a few occasionally hiccups based on the owner.
I am very excited to start, I should have all my equipment in the next 4 weeks hopefully.
Do you need to polar align AND star align? I am rather confused on how to get it photo ready. I do not plan on purchasing any eye pieces or diagonals, or a finder scope (unless I really need to). I plan on doing everything in the software from all the forum posts and videos I have watched. My current NexStar 6SE I use the auto 2 star and I have that down pretty well.
