The best way to fill a vehicle from a gas can is a gasoline rated pump. Trying to pour from a jug is possible but in all my years in boat yards and dealing with gas cans I can count on one hand how many times I haven’t spilled any.
I've seen this question a lot the last few days.
There are literally battery operated fuel transfer pumps designed for getting fuel out of large containers. (Typically 10+ gallon red gasoline cans, but it would work equally well with the plastic totes from the memes.)

On the topic of buying, transporting, and storing/transporting e85
I think many of us are filling up extra gas cans when we make a run for e85. I am currently using metal 5Gal jerrycans which are relatively easy to lift when full (~40 lbs when full.)
These 12G plastic tanks are on sale for $69.99 -- estimated 80lbs when full.
