They sell similar ensembles in most pet shops and some larger super markets here. Also, online might be a good place to check.
This one doesn’t have a heater but would still be a good start V https://www.amazon.com/Tetra-Crescent-Aquarium-Efficient-5-Gallon/dp/B00324X5L2?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

This is the cheapest 5 gallon I see on Amazon. I got my 5g at Petsmart for $45 lid and filter included. Don't forget a heater! Also maybe a small home decoration. They do like to hide away occasionally. Warning though. Set the tank up and let it run for one week. It needs to cycle properly or it can hurt the betta. Also you will need to add stress coat (water conditioner) to the new tank to help the water cycle. Thank you for helping this betta! You are saving it!
As others have said, a bowl is too small for any betta, let alone any fish. Have her look into 5 gallon tank kits like this one. It'd me cheaper than buying everything separate. She'll also need to get a heater and thermometer. He's gorgeous and deserves to thrive, not just survive.
We bought the Tetra Crescent 5 gallon kit from Amazon. It’s prime eligible if you have that. If not, Chewy has it for the same price and ships for free when you buy $50 worth of stuff. By the time you purchase the kit, a heater, and a thermometer, you’ll surpass the purchase amount for free shipping. Hope this helped! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00324X5L2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share (Link to the kit on Amazon) Something else to note is that we went ahead and purchased the bundle that Amazon offered for an additional $10 or so. A box of 3 filter cartridges and a fairly cheap thermometer. From there, you’ll be able to get a 10w heater for like $8 from any fish store. From there, purchase silk plants and hides with no sharp edges and you’ll be good to go! The tank will seem a little crowded aesthetically but it’s well worth it for a happy, healthy Betta. Hope this helped!
i recommended him a 5g tank this one specofically https://www.amazon.com/Tetra-Crescent-Aquarium-Efficient-5-Gallon/dp/B00324X5L2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=5+gallon+betta+fish+tank&qid=1619140084&sr=8-3 i hope it's sufficient
Sure! This is the tank.
I bought different lights though and also baffled the filter with a sponge through the intake.

Sorry for the blurry tank shot, I didn't realize that until it was posted. I am fighting some algae, so I was hoping real plants would help.
this is the tank I have, and it came with this light. Not much info on it is given. The lid fits perfectly over the tank, minus the feeding hole and area for the heater and filter wires. (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00324X5L2/) additionally, my betta likes hiding under his filter. (Tetra Whisper Internal Power Filter) nothing bad has happened yet, but he enjoys swimming under it and in the space between the heater and tank side. (plenty of room for him.)
I was thinking this Nicrew classic LED light, but I'm not sure how well it would work, considering the tank shape. (https://www.amazon.com/NICREW-ClassicLED-Aquarium-Extendable-Brackets/dp/B0191EWII2/) the tank is 15 inches wide at its max, so it would stretch; I'm just worried about the lid itself.
As for the plants, it's a java fern (glued to the rock), a water wisteria (left), and some water sprites.
Would this one be cool? Tetra curved front tank

Okay. What is the Seachem Stability or the Tetra SafeStart Plus for? I bought the recommended Dr. Tim's BB, and I do have the master kit.
My new tank comes with a filter. I ended up getting this heater. Should this one be okay? I don't want it to hurt him on accident. I've never had my fish jump into his current filter, and I'm not sure if he'll try that with the new one. Is that some sort of special sponge?
A 5 gallon tank would be perfect, Most people would recommend a 10 gal because the more water you have the easier it is for a beginner, as mistakes like over feeding and over dosing chemical are not as harsh with a large volume of water.
