First, I am also a native speaker of English, and I'm getting really tired of the meme that English makes no sense. I'm guessing you never had to diagram sentences in school, but the grammatical rules are consistent (which is one reason that listening to Trump speak is basically its own form of torture). The spelling is also a lot less confusing once you know the rules, particularly for the loanwords that make up a large chunk of our vocabulary. Suggested reading here.

And I'm insulted by the idea for precisely the same reason that Latinos are insulted by "Latinx": why should someone else tell me how to speak my own damn language, and even more so when what they want me to say makes no sense? Why did you think people find "Latinx" offensive? Because someone else is telling them how to speak their language, and that person is getting it wrong. Precisely the same as "Anglx" would be.

"It only doesn't make any sense in English?" What is that even supposed to mean? Do you think English is the only language without grammatical gender? Or do you think that all languages work the way Spanish does? Or do you think that English speakers aren't allowed to get upset if some dingdong tells them to change how they speak?
