The best is way to learn, I've found, is working with professionals. As far as resources go, there thousands of storyboarding 101 books that tell you the procedures and naming conventions.
I found doing 3-6 panel comic strips is a great way to practice layouts and shots.
Also just buying art of books is a great way to see how the masters did it. I would start with the art of the incredibles. This book has everything from character design to storyboards.
It looks like most of you love The Incredibles as much as I do. If so, pick up The Art of the Incredibles. So amazing the mid-century modern influences. The concept art is amazing. Somebody has it somewhere and I'd totally buy it. https://www.amazon.com/Art-Incredibles-Mark-Cotta-Vaz/dp/0811844331
