There's a great book on amazon that includes both sun tzu's Art of War, and Clausewitz' On War. Both are well translated. The Art of War by Sun-Tzu and ON WAR by Carl von Clausewitz
Read this, and you'll likely know more about war at least from a historical or philosophical perspective than your DI or even your CO does LOL
