This one came recommended via another Amazon review. It's really quite good. There's a 2 week menu planner as well with recipes. The first half of the book works hard to explain the science behind the keto concept and why it works. I am a person that likes to understand why something does or doesn't work so it helped me quite a bit.
Came here to post this, but I see some other people have already beaten me to the punch.
Here is an example of one of the books:
The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners
Your Essential Guide to Living the Keto Lifestyle By AMY RAMOS

(Keep in mind, these are in PDF, MOBI, and EPUB formats)
I got [The Complete Ketogenic Diet for Beginners](www.amazon.com/dp/1623158087) by Amy Ramos about a month into my Keto journey. I liked that there was a whole section on the science as well as quick, simple recipes. The 5 steps to going Keto section was also really helpful!
So much great information! Thank you so much! I have everything that I need to start keto, I just need to do it. Your post has really helped motivate me even more, and your response moreso. For the past month or so I've been meticulously weighing anything that goes into my mouth and keeping it at a deficit. I've even had the occasional chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. So I lost about seven plus pounds since April 18th! But total just over 13lbs since the beginning of the year, which isn't a lot to some, but for me it's been really motivating.
I use Cronometer and paid the extra to use all the features, which is nice because I can control the macros and it gives you the option of a Keto calculator, but I'm not sure if I want to go that route yet. Compared to the Keto Calculator on the xxketofaq the numbers are totally different. So for now I'm going to stick to the Cronometer numbers since it's been working for me this far.
I will definitely check out the links your provided! I love a good recipe especially for bread! And that Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit recipe is definitely going to be made this week! This past week or two I've been prepping zoodles, baking chicken breast, and making alfredo sauce - making the most comforting dish possible. I want to make some fat bombs this coming week, too. I don't mind eating the same thing for days or weeks on end, as long as it satisfies my craving and keeps me full.
I've also been doing IF depending on the day of the week. If I'm doing my C25K jog in the morning, it's really hard for me to not eat when I get home. I try and do IF on days that I'm not working out but I'm not sure if that's good way to go about it, or if I should try and eat more on a schedule. How often did you do IF?
