The Polar Bear Comforter is a crochet pattern from The Crochet Book and the beige hat was supposed to be the head of the comforter! It said double crochet when it meant single to me (it pains me to admit as someone from the UK that the US terms make the most sense to me!). Rather than frogging I turned it into a hat, then I ran out of beige yarn so I had to use the spare from the romper. It all worked out in the end!!
