Based on the witness of the gospels, the body of the resurrected and exalted Jesus included the impairments of the scars in his hands and hole in his sides.
And in John's vision in Revelation - the marks of that slaying are still the most noteworthy feature of the body of he who sits on the throne in heaven.

I really recommend listening to some voices in the disabled community to help you understand why hearing this over and over again could be deeply painful.
Some of the most committed Christians I know are wheelchair users, or have CP, or EDS, or Crohn's, or were born with serious genetic abnormalities. This hasn't stopped them from being leaders, writers, pastors, theologians, and faithful believers. I've learned so, so much from them - insights that I would never have gotten from someone living without disability.
If you really want a deep, challenging dive into this subject I recommend the book Disabled God.
