Look into the Liveaboard life style. It's people that live on their boats. There are lots of different ways to do it, with varying degrees of cost, convenience and amenities.
You can get something with no bells and whistles for a couple grand, live at a marina, use their toilets showers and laundry, or you can put half a mil into a yacht and sail the world. Some people "live off the hook" (keep the boat anchored or moored out in the water and use a tender to get back and forth). This is very cheap but you need to sort out power, water, and toilets and that'll add costs. Living at a marina is a bit more expensive, and is like a floating RV at a campground with the option to go sailing.
There are also some that are more or less permanently on the go sailing around the world. They'll pop in to land for resources as needed. Those ones are either rich on their own, or have a very flexible remote work arrangement (usually contractors rather than actual employees). Lots play the social media game but I doubt it's all that profitable.
