The evolution of physics by einstein/infeld It explain very well certain idea and the road they followed to understand them in layman terms (there is no need for math or physic background). That beeing said it's not a light read either as they are really explain what it's happening and why it's happening. Wouldn't start by this one as there is a need to be patient and often re-read paragraphe multiple times but after 2 or 3 other books maybe more interesting it's definitly worth reading for a better understanding of physic.
The Evolution of Physics by Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld - Read this carefully and you will understand how modern science has misrepresented what he said.
This is on the edge of the 'textbook' envelope, but such a kickass read:
"The Evolution of Physics" by Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld [Paperback]
Here's some random pages:
See if you can spot where contemporary physicists have misinterpreted Albert.
Spirituality is belief in spirits, ghosts or some other being with supernatural abilities (go through walls, etc.). Spiritual experiences are someone misinterpreting sights/sounds as the presence of the aforementioned spirits/ghosts/etc.
I put nothing in place of spirituality. It's a delusion that leads people to believe in non-sensical theories and "magic". I've never been one to believe in something that has no empirical evidence to support it, so I don't really need to replace it. I sleep now when I used to be dragged to church as a kid, so maybe that counts?
I've always been into science, specifically physics. I've taken to reading the works of Hawking, Einstein, and company. They're absolutely fascinating, and you don't necessarily need to have a very deep physics background to enjoy them. I highly recommend "The Evolution of Physics" or "On The Shoulders of Giants". Enjoy :)
