What is Reddit's opinion of The Great Brain (Great Brain, Book 1)?

If you want to try some books that are not sci-fi or fantasy, and you’re brand new to reading, a couple I’d suggest are

—“A Separate Peace” by John Knowles (about some kids at a boarding school and some of the drama that ensues due to rivalry and jealousy.)

—any of the S.E. Hinton books, such as “The Outsiders”

—“Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck

—and, this may be a stretch for your age (they might be a tad too young) but I was at your age, and still am, a huge fan of the Great Brainseries of books by John D. Fitzgerald.
