My vet suggested using diluted bleach wipes on his butthole. Sounds harsh, it was like a 99percent ratio of water. I used the dilited bleach wipes to clean up any surface area too. Bleach is the only thing that kills the giardia.
To firm up his poop, I gave my pup perfect form. Really helped firm up his poo
