This one by the Knot is the one I got and it comes in a binder! It has a guide and has different sections and pages to fill out with vendor information, budget, guest list, etc.
Like the other commenter said, r/WeddingPlanning has been helpful but I’ll definitely say, even though a lot of people claim they didn’t actually use it, I was surprised at how much mileage I got out of this.
It really drags wedding planning down to the basics and walks you through, step by step, the process of legitimately everything.
First: Congratulations!
Second: There's a binder that The Knot has released. Here is the link. You won't be sorry!
I'm not sure if this is what my wife had when we were planning, but it's awfully close:
The Knot Ultimate Wedding Planner & Organizer
If you want to get artsy (which my wife did), she somehow redid the binder cover to have our names on it with a blowup of one of the Engagement Pics.
It is extremely helpful. Electronic files aren't always easily accessible when visiting vendors. Contracts are often aren't electronic in the first place. And visiting a photographer, for example, may very well require knowledge about times and places that are the venue files. So it's nice to have all of it with you in an easily transported and organized way.
And the suggestions as to what questions should be asked to certain vendors really helps.
I bought this planning book from the knot and it is amazing!!!
TheKnot wedding planner has been amazing.
I love this one. Just don't use their website!
