Get it on BluRay! Totally worth it. Everything looks and sounds better. I haven’t gone through the bonus features yet but I plan to as soon as I finish my rewatch.

Are you confusing Netflix for Amazon Prime? Also Superman: TAS.
Unfortunately Batman Beyond is not free on Prime, but it's available if you wanted to buy it.
The DVD collection of the series is pretty cheap. 20 at wal mart if I remember correctly. And at one point they were on Hulu and Netflix but I don't know for certain.
Edit:yep 20 on Amazon and you can find these at almost any wal mart I'm sure. Best buy might sell it for like 25.
Avatar - The Last Airbender: The Complete Series [link]
It is not on Netflix, but it is on Amazon Prime.
USA has some episodes as well, but it looks like its only season 2.
This Archive.org snapshot from mid-May positively confirms
that the Amazon product page originally said "+ Digital HD with Ultraviolet":
Assuming you're in North America, there's really only one line of DVDs in print for the first Dragon Ball TV series: the five blue season bricks. These were released from 2009-2010. That's all there is right now, and they are readily available on sites like RightStuf and Amazon. There is no word on any future re-release of the series, remastered/HD or otherwise.
If you are exclusively watching the franchise in English and are for some reason or another incapable of being convinced otherwise, please watch the Kai version of the Dragon Ball Z portion for something resembling an accurate script and atmosphere.
Real talk: entire franchise, Japanese with English subtitles, beginning to end, no items, Final Destination.
I'm all for physical sales, I still collect tons of movie and shows on DVD and Blu Ray, but this just seems to be some random twitter account with a url shortener that hides the fact the amazon link has an affiliate code. Basically, anyone buying it through this link is giving a kickback to dfn00a-20 whoever that is...
edit: here's a direct link to the amazon page for it with no affiliate: [link]
You can buy season 3 here from Amazon US, they ship anywhere in Europe and the The Expanse US blu-rays are all region-free (despite what Amazon says).
AFAIK, Prime international release dates have not yet been announced.
One option is to buy the US Blu-rays from Amazon.com.
(Although Amazon labels them as "Region A/1", some reports say they are region-free.)
Avatar: The Last Airbender is phenomenal and my favourite TV show of all time, even though on a critical level it’s arguably not as good as The Wire or The Sopranos. Regardless, it’s a damn great series with exhilarating martial arts-inspired fights, a unique Asiatic fantasy world, a simple-to-understand yet fully realised magic system, and the best character development I’ve ever seen in anything.
I would recommend getting the recently released Blu-ray edition of the complete series (which is available through Amazon.
Also, there is no movie in Ba Sing Se. You’ll understand what that means soon enough. 😂🙂
The only answer I can think of it on Amazon, but you need a Prime account or you can purchase the episode.
Edit - You can also watch it on Youtube, but you have to pay.
The blu-rays on the series are best buy exclusive right now, but release on amazon and other places on June 5th. So far, every place I've seen has a bunch of problems with the video encodes, and there was even a fan project to remaster them so that the problems weren't as noticeable, but the blu-rays are completely free of all those problems. Looks like you can pick up the whole series in the highest quality it's ever been in for about 30 bucks:
(Oops, for clarity my thread title should've said "Amazon's US TV bestsellers".)
FWIW, the US Blu-rays are reportedly "region-free" (even though Amazon lists them as region A/1) ... so if you have a player, and if you can order an import (either from the Amazon site nearest you, if they offer it, or else by international order from Amazon.com), that may be one option to consider.
I know for a fact it's on Netflix in Mexico and Canada.
You could also try complete collection on Amazon. The nice thing about these is that you get a lot of extras on them too.
In the past the prices fell significantly as we got closer to the release date, which is listed as July 17, 2018 this year (you pay the lowest price between now and the end of release day with Amazon's pre-order price guarantee).
Blu-rays of seasons 1 and 2 are region-free despite Amazon listing having them as Region A, so there is a very good chance season 3 is as well. The DVDs are not region-free.
Pre-orders have begun at Amazon Canada as well: Blu-ray, DVD.
season 3 is showing as #43 in top movies/tv purchases on amazon this morning (5/13). i am certain amazon will look at that info as they decide whether to pick up the show.
since the OP is just an image, not a link:
I believe you have till the end of this month to order before Amazon stops delivering to Australia. You can thank Turnbull for that.
nb: Seems to take them a few days to actually post it to.
The dvd sets are on amazon. ATLA regular DVD used starts from $15.
Korra regular dvd used starts at $23.
That's less than forty dollars for two fantastic shows.
You sure you're not thinking of Korra? It was a big deal last year when Avatar blu ray was announced. (You can also see here on this boy that the release date was last summer) [link]
Oh mighty u/spidersam639, acknowledge the masterpiece that is Avatar The Last Airbender! Seeing you're an animation fan, I bet you've at least heard of it!
Make my next rewatch special with the DVD of the show! >!(I wish I had a bluray player) !<
It's my favorite show of all time, so it's the only show I want a physical copy of
OK maybe FMA too sometime later, but this takes priority!
Hm, I guess we'll see. If Funimation did lose the rights they should be sending out emails to everyone that preordered it to inform them.
Although I'm not sure how much truth there is to "Amazon cancels every Evangelion 3.33 preorder". Can't find a lot of info, but from Eva geeks it looks like they cancled "inactive" orders since its been over a year, its possible a lot of people just did not make sure their preorder is active or something and lost it?
I think you can still preorder it off amazon though?
Okay so first off these two sets both have the exact same content on disc (including bonus features) and are of the same audio/visual quality. Mind you the anniversary set isn't one of the US ones, its from europe, this is the US equivalent (again same exact discs)
"Steelbook" is a special kind of deluxe casing, which is why it costs more. It also has covers for each section with its own cover art. The anniversary/european set includes some art cards as well (some of that art is carried over for the ATLA calendar).
Its also worth noting a very recently released "Ultimate" Bluray release of both series. The on disc content is mostly the same as prior releases, but includes extra bonus disc which has an interview with the creators done by the official podcast. It lacks the special casing of the steelbook but actually has some of the european art cards along with new ones for LoK characters.
Bluray kan ga menjamin HD atau 4K; unless explicitly stated. Do give it a try, tapi gw rasa yang 40GB ini upsampling aja sih (kalo bukan concatenated with malware, lol). Kalo liat review Amazon dari yang beli sih tetep aja 4:3 / 480:60.
If it’s any comfort, you can buy it on Amazon
or any of those pay-to-watch services. I really do wish they had them on streaming platforms though.
I don't know what region you live in, but if you're looking for a North American or NTSC/Region-1 release, then the remastered "blue brick" DVD sets are the overall best option currently available. The original DB series hasn't been made available on Blu-ray anywhere yet that I'm aware of.
When you look on amazon theres 2, one for $30 and one for $60, whats the difference? [link]
FWIW, some posts have said the current Blu-ray release of Season 3
is actually region-free (even though Amazon labels it as Region A/1).
(I haven't purchased it myself, so I can't personally verify that it is region-free.)
Also the Blu ray is only like $30 on Amazon.
Ninja edit: but is apparently "reserved for prime members," which is stupid. Everyone should be able to experience this show in all its HD glory.
From e.g. Amazon.com: S3 blu-ray. The blu-rays are region-free despite Amazon claiming otherwise.
If you do not have any payment methods accepted by Amazon.com, you can also buy it from various sellers on eBay.
Note that only the blu-ray discs are region-free, not the DVDs.
I bought the first season off of amazon. Other seasons might be a couple bucks higher though.
I’m happy your enjoying it as well!
Dragon Ball: Season 1 [link]
I ordered the blue ray already. Amazon prime and Vudu have it, but at between $2 and $3 per episode. Only $30 on Amazon for the whole series ([link]). That is some really inexpensive therapy!
You can buy the complete series on Blu-ray for $30 from Amazon. A sound investment, I’d say!
Avatar - The Last Airbender: The Complete Series [Blu-ray] [link]
I got it here off amazon and mine isn’t missing any of those... really curious. I’m not missing any episodes actually...
Another option, if you have some extra money and a Blu-ray player, is to import the US Blu-rays, which have previously been reported to be region-free (even though Amazon doesn't say they are).
Amazon merges all of the listings for 3.33 for some reason, so if you click on the New or Used tab you'll see English releases along with Italian, Spanish, and French ones. This is probably where the complaints about missing English subs/dubs originate. As long as you order from this listing, there shouldn't be any issues. Alternatively, you can buy the DVDs/Blu-reis directly from Funimation.
If a subscription service doesn't have it, and you don't want to sail the seas. Amazon has the DVD collection for 18$ right now.
Upon looking a bit closer, it seems just to be some special collection with two discs, and an artbook.
Still, if you are interested.
I don't know for sure but it seems like it is only on American Netflix right now. If you want to watch it now you could try a VPN or buy it
This is the one I have. I dunno but it looks fine to me. You can also buy them on amazon video and watch it there instead of owning the physical copy.
Last year they released the blu-ray. It's the only way you can watch it in 720p (otherwise its like 480p). It's only ~$30 for the entire series.
Not sure where you are but at least in the US Nickelodeon has it streaming through an add-on channel to Amazon Prime called NickHits
Amazon or iTunes for example. But if you don’t like these companies I’m sure you’ll find other vendors. If for some reason you can’t get ahold of a digital copy you could just buy the DVD or Blu-ray and rip it. I’m sure you’ll find these at various local stores as well.
The one I linked is for all three seasons. If you feel like watching Legend of Korra also, you can put down 80 USD for all three seasons of Airbender and all four seasons of Korra and buy this box set.
There is a delightful pinned post at the top of the sub detailing various ways to purchase the show.
> iTunes, Vudu, Amazon Digital, Google Play, and Microsoft Movies & TV.
There's also the cheaper DVD Box set, which for some reason beyond me isn't in the pinned list.
You can order the region-free S3 blu-ray set from e.g. Amazon US, or if you want to buy from UK, e.g. this (randomly selected) ebay listing.
Not regional, from a specific DVD set. This one
Link if the other doesn’t work: [link]
Yes, Best Buy should have it. If not you can get it on Amazon for $30.
Note also that some reports have claimed that the S3 Blu-rays sold on Amazon.com in the US, though labeled there as "Region A/1", may actually be region-free. ... So if those reports are accurate, buying those Blu-rays could be one option to consider.
I'm not sure how it works in the US, since I'm in the UK - but a Prime subscription here is £7.99 a month, and it's included in that - the service is similar to Netflix: it's a bit steep that you have to pay per episode
Checked amazon.com and it works the same way:
By Amazon Prime version did you mean this? or the digital copy? Sorry to keep asking haha
You can stream them on Funimation's website or purchase the box sets at any number of places like Amazon.
I recently bought the complete dvd set on Amazon for around $25. It's not as convenient as streaming but it's nice to have.
Edit: here it is for $28
I know it doesn't have the same title but it is the only followup to 2.0/2.22 You Can (Not) Advance. Something tells me that the title got changed during the writing/advertising process.
You can watch it on Amazon if you want. If you don't have Prime it's with ads though. I haven't tried it myself yet either, I just checked.
or go to FUNimation's site get a subscribtion and it should all be there. Idk if you could watch it for free through.
The listing for Funimation's version is up, but Amazon themselves haven't started taking preorders on the Canadian site yet though.
It's certainly a big departure from the original anime but I think it delivers a better ending.
Buy the Blue bricks for Dragon ball [link]
For DBZ buy the Blu-rays if your a casual dbz watcher , buy The Dragon Boxes if your a purist , Take note though that the dragon boxes are out of print and very expensive.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Pete and Pete are on DVD [link]
there are also a few other shows like Clarissa Explains it all and The Secret world of Alex Mac on DVD from Nickelodeons Rewind Collection. I wish they would finish off series like Pete and Pete and release the 3rd and final season..
Seasons one and two have actually been out for nearly five years already. Unfortunately, season three's release was canceled.
You can get season 1 and season 2 on Amazon. Sadly Season 3 hasn't been released.
