I recommend this to people on this thread from time to time: Spend $10-20 on The Migraine Brain by Carolyn Bernstein. Everyone is different, so what works for one may not work for another. But that book is kind of a field guide for navigating migraines. It is a little dated (2009), so it is missing a few of the newest meds, but it gives you a much deeper understanding of what you're dealing with / how to support someone else. Also has some good info on understanding triggers and non-medicinal things that can help. Also some good advice on things to ask your doctor. Most of what's in there is somewhere on the internet, but it is helpful to have it all in one place.
