It’s like a more mature Superpowerds if Vince was super sarcastic.
Summery: Standard “Everyone woke up and there were super powers” but instead of saving cats from trees, supers almost destroyed the world leaving it a post apocalyptic wasteland. Some years later, a balance settled, and we cut to Damien. He’s a Crow, a super with the power to reanimate the dead, pretty cool, except eventually they all go nuts and go on murder sprees. Damien’s terrified, and prays being the first crow accepted into the academy might save everyone from him.
The main character, Damien
The Murder of Crows . Main character is a necromancer who can see ghosts. He's straight, but there is representation as well, particularly with one of the most prominent secondary characters.

Hey everyone! I've been publishing books since late 2019, and currently have two different settings that might be of interest. All of my books are available on Kindle Unlimited, as well as in print and (of course) digital formats.
The Murder of Crows is a newly completed trilogy of very sweary post-apocalyptic superhero books, featuring a protagonist with the one superpower nobody wants: necromancy. The last book in the trilogy, One Tin Soldier, came out in November and is currently sitting at a 4.8 rating on Amazon with more than 500 ratings.
The Many Travails of John Smith is a (mostly) lighthearted urban fantasy series that is ongoing, featuring my spin on the usual assortment of fantasy races, from punk-loving vampires to hippie werewolves to zombie princes and a handful of incredibly strange demigods. The fourth book in the series, The Italian Screwjob, will release this coming Tuesday. I've included the book blurb below:

>“Do you do this sort of thing a lot?”
“Fly across the world to defend someone from murder accusations with my own life hanging in the balance?” I shook my head. “It’s less common than you might think.”
It's been several years since John Smith became San Diego's supernatural mediator, and he's as surprised to still be alive as anyone. A lot of the credit goes to Anastasia, the vampire whose relationship status with John can be safely filed under 'It's complicated.'
So, when Ana is imprisoned for the murder of Tomasso, King of the Italian Court, John drops everything to go to her defense. If he can find the real killer—and unravel a centuries-old mystery in the process—his trip to Rome might have a storybook ending. If he comes up empty, he’ll lose more than just the woman he loves.
John has survived a lot of things—divorces, conspiracies, and angry demigods—but politics can be deadly even before regicide is thrown into the mix. This case is looking more and more like an Italian screwjob.
Beta readers seemed to enjoy the newest book immensely, and I'm hopeful the wider reading world will too. Thank you!
