>Please enlighten me.
I don't think I can do so succinctly in a reddit post. You could begin with https://www.amazon.com/Noblest-Triumph-Property-Prosperity-Through/dp/0312223374
>Yet you're supporting a candidate...
Who am I supporting?
>... I fail to see how this is different in principle than what you're saying.
Would you describe a mugger who mugs you to support his buddies' drug habit as "charitable"? Would you describe hiding your money so the mugger fails to take it as "theft" from his addicted buddy? At some point your political confusion is just a consequence of failing to use words accurately, that inaccuracy being encouraged by many Communists/Socialists/Democrats.
>...the promise of building a giant border wall that would involve imminent domaining a ton of privately owned property in order to build.
I would very much support taking land from Mexico to build a secure border rather than from private property owners on the U.S. side of the border. It would be a reasonable concession, given their complicity in violating our immigration laws. But if that's not politically feasable, it would be among the least dubious uses of eminent domain in recent memory.
>I don't believe you give a shit about this, when you say property rights you mean your own money, but not other people's money or land.
I've given you zero reason to believe something so silly. In fact I've spent much more of the past 20 years of my time and attention protecting other people's property rights than my own. Your belief/speculation to the contrary is irrelevant.
>...you're just asking me if I'm okay with the government using your tax money to help poor people.
I don't actually remember asking you that.
If you believe that turning our government into an instrument of plundering other people's wealth will work out well for the poor or middle classes, you really need to read some Bastiat, or more about the history of socialism in general. If you've only read Leftists, you're not going to understand the Left's errors.
>...because it's being used for a much more noble and practical purpose than whatever you're going to do with it.
Your writing so far indicates that you have to be self aware enough to understand how ignorant that statement sounds.
>It also has no detrimental impact on your ability to survive.
What a concise demonstration of why your opinions should never coincide with authority.
