Sure! Palmer Pletsch Complete Guide to Fitting
As a petite stature-d mid-size sewist it has been amazing. Only downside is that it doesn't cover pant fitting. I actually just ordered in the Singer pants book and between the two I'm set for most issues.
I got a book I'll link in the bottom of the post that really explained the tissue fitting process and also explains how to correct issues you see while the tissue is on you. It helped me a lot. I just use a roll of tracing paper from Amazon but it isn't as soft so I kind of take that into account when I'm using a drapey fabric.
Also I think we are kind of discussing a different world. You're sewing up amazing costumes and I'm making skirts and blouses for work, so the cost involved is a lot more on the costume end. One benefit of sewing my own is once I get a pattern fitting spot on, I can always make several garments off that pattern without repurchasing. I kind of shop that way also. Jeans that fit? Get 3 pairs!

You might also check out the Curvy Sewing Collective. They have a lot of advice and links to classes and tutorials to adjust fit.
Palmer/Pletsch Complete Guide to Fitting has an illustrated reference in the back that shows what various wrinkles mean and how to resolve (e.g. vertical wrinkles near shoulder seams needs a narrow shoulder adjustment, etc.).
There's also plenty of resources if you Google the specific garment (e.g. pants fitting, blazer fitting, etc.).
