I would just start with a rider wait deck. Most of the tarot 101 info out there is based on the imagery in the rider deck. It’s a good starting point to get familiar.
Everyone should have a divination practice! I imagine dice get the job done just fine!
This is the Rider deck I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/091386613X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_KMHJMW0X0DNNFFGMV9A8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Might work for you if you’re still looking!
17.50$ canadian on amazon.

I suggest you to get the one that appeals you. I started with the wild unknown. Bought the original after.
Oh and get the guide really useful. You can find some deck with the guide already included.
Good shopping ;)
I would suggest the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, which you can buy for pretty cheap on Amazon. Most other decks are based on this system and almost all books and websites for learning the cards use this deck. When you start to learn, the LearnTarot website is free and very helpful. Have fun! Exploring Tarot is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I had looked online at actually buying one and on amazon at least they were suuuper expensive, so I bought a tarot deck, pulled the right amount of cards following this guide mostly. Then I tea dyed them and dried them off between paper towels and pressed by a heavy book and used some scrap fabric and a tassel to complete the ancient magic deck look.
If anyone wants to do the same, my suggestion to you is to do the tea dying in waves and not let them sit too long. I let the whole deck soak for a few hours in a pot of tea that had been made with 14 black tea bags and the glue separated on some of them splitting the backs from the faces. They stuck back together but I lost a few of the cards. Doesn't really matter I guess, but for anyone's future reference.
Ah, that makes more sense. That's a Rider-Waite-Smith card. It might be one of the variations on the original since the colors are much clearer than on my own cards. Here's a comparison of similar decks on YouTube for you to check out.
Edit to add: Comparing your link to the video, it looks like the most similar decks are the ones published by U.S. Games Systems Inc. Here's an Amazon link to their Rider Tarot Deck.
since I have nothing better to do today:
The photos pictured look like they're from the Rider Tarot Deck, which is a 1971 reissue of the original work, which was created by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909 and published in 1910. The copyright is held by U.S. Game Systems, Inc, and the reissue was made in collaboration with Miss Sybil Waite and Rider & Company, London.
The box itself refers to the deck as "The Rider Tarot Deck," noting on the back that it is also known as the Waite Tarot and The Rider-Waite Tarot. The box notes that this edition is "the original and only authorized edition of the famous 78-card Tarot Deck designed by PAMELA COLMAN SMITH (emphasis theirs), under the direction of ARTHUR EDWARD WAITE."
In 2009 U.S. Games Systems released another, more true-to-original reproduction of the deck as part of the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set. This updated deck is available as of 2015 under the name Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot Deck
Cards: just under $20 on Amazon
Single card pulls: really easy
Look maybe I'm just in a salty mood because I know this is gonna appeal to someone, probably, but as much as I love people getting into Tarot it makes me mad. Why would you buy a random card pulled by a random person who has as far as I can tell 0 knowledge of what she's doing to give you any insight into your life???
Learning the Tarot involves huge amounts of reading, practice with cards and watching you tube videos. Then, read more, and more, and practice even more! It's a big commitment to learn to read properly. but worth it. Tarot opens up a HUGE world you could never imagine. Divination, psychology, meditation, spirituality.etc.
Start with a Rider Waite Smith" based deck as most Tarot study is based around them. You can move on to decks you like the pictures of and better connect with when you have the fundamentals down. A basic Ride Wait Smith deck is also pretty cheap too.

They are all over ebay, amazon. In canada I paid 20 including shipping from ebay.

You don’t need to understand it, it’s more of acceptance type of situation. Go with the flow and enjoy the view.
Cards? Not sure what this is in reference to but you can get a deck of tarot cards on amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/091386613X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_i_LC81Fb9497EGK

Drawing a Tarot deck is a lengthy endeavor, it took me a couple of years to make the Silicon Dawn deck. If your drawings are simpler it could take less time but it’s still a big working, and you might want to consider casting a few spells to make a decent deck fall into your hands, or to be in a financial place where thirty bucks is no longer a big deal.
A Tarot deck is 4 suits of 14 cards each (ace to ten, king queen knight page) and 22 Trumps (see Wikipedia’s list). You could get two decks of playing cards and write the names of the Arcana on 22 cards from the second one, sure. You could find some light cardboard and cut it up and start drawing, too. Or you could spend thirteen bucks plus shipping and get the Smith-Waite deck off of Amazon...
Just the regular Rider deck amazon link
My handouts were a hit at the table. I stained them using coffee, folded them every which way, even stuck them in some clothes which went through the wash.
If you have the time you can get Strahd's seal from AliExpress or for a little more money on Etsy if you need it sooner.
I actually really dislike the official tarokka deck. I think it looks tacky af with the 90's style tribal tattoos around the edge. I replaced mine with a tarot deck from Amazon. I can't find the exact link but there's a few cool ones (and a bunch more you may like). You'll just have to use the name on the card instead of the book but my deck had some pretty similar cards.
That's so sweet that you are supportive of her and want to gift her with the tools she needs <3
I'm new to Wicca, but I suggest buying her books from this list and see if there are any specific aspects of Wicca she is into. Does she want to practice herbal magic? Candle magic? Runes? Tarot? Is she not really sure yet? Find out and buy books based off of her interest! If she's wanting to learn something like candle magic then buy her lots of different colored candles, a candle holder, and matches and lighters. If she's into tarot then seek out a tarot deck you think she might like (The Rider Waite deck seems to be the most popular for beginner Wiccans) When I was first getting into Wicca, someone suggested I buy an altar set so that might be something you'd want to look into. I haven't purchased one since they're kind of pricey for me, but they do seem to have the essentials for any altar :)
Yes, I think that's the same. I bought this one as my first deck.
For what it's worth, the deck I started with is the Rider tarot deck
