I would suggest amazon. Its where I got all 13 volumes that are currently out. They're pretty lengthy. But they're (mostly) fantastic. I found 1-7 to be really fun and great reads. 8-10 I got very bored of and trudged through. But 11-13 is even better than the beginning and blew my mind.

I can confirm this is Rising of the Shield Hero Light novel. I've recently read the first 3 books that have been translated. Unfortunately not an anime.

LN has been translated by One Peace Books and can be bought on Amazon. The manga is based on the LN. If you want to give the WN a try here are the epubs.
Don't know what country in Europe you live in, but Shield Hero is on Amazon UK for around 11 GBP and Amazon France for around 15 euros. Try searching your local Amazon or similar book retailer for Shield Hero and see if it pops up.

The Light Novel is officially licensed and being printed in English by One Peace Books. You can buy it on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Officially, the book isn't out for another two weeks. However, quite a few people have been getting their copies early, myself included. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get your copy early too. At worst, you'll have to wait about two weeks.

~~It's not even getting a english manga release in the first place?~~ Nevermind it is. i can't find the manga version anywhere though and since you got that kind of email, it most likely did get canceled. I have no official information though.
Amazon still does show that the light novel is getting it's release in september. Might wanna buy that. Or just read the original web novel?
